Due to the absence of specific data documenting its safety, Ciprofloxacin is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women unless the potential benefits outweigh the possible risks. Ciprofloxacin should be used with caution in patients with epilepsy or a history of CNS disorders, renal impairment, G6PD deficiency, and myasthenia gravis. Adequate fluid intake should be maintained during treatment.
